2012 Lexus IS 250 AWD rust-free Texas car with many new parts (see description for pricing)
2012 Lexus IS 250 AWD rust-free Texas car with many new parts (see description for pricing)
THE PRICE OF THE CAR IS $10,995.00 which does not include title, tax and registration. Since those are dependent upon the buyer’s location, I cannot list this vehicle for the “out the door“ price. For buyers outside IL, with the exception of a few states that I must collect tax for (AZ, CA, FL, HI, IN, MA, MI, SC), the title, tax and registration is all done in your own state and there would be no additional paid at the time purchase, only when registered in your home state so check with you DMV/BMV for the fees and taxes there. This Lexus has an Illinois clear title with a rebuilt brand, or what many people call a rebuilt title. All the inspections are done to convert the title from salvage, so you transfer the title like you would any other vehicle. If you want to buy this Lexus, the first step is to add it to your cart and proceed to checkout. This $500.00 is a non-refundable deposit that lets me know you have secured funds and will allow you to send me the rest of your information for titling, shipping and payment. You will receive a response within 12 hours so we can work the payment of the balance and facilitate pick up of the vehicle. The deposit will hold the vehicle for up to 5 days from the time of your first response, by which time the full payment must be paid or the deposit will be forfeited.
So now that we have the buying process worked out, let’s talk about the Lexus. It is a 2012 Lexus IS250 AWD. It is equipped with the 2.5-liter engine and 6 speed automatic transmission. The current mileage is 136,870 but it will be going up as it gets used from time to time. It was originally from Texas so it lacks the rust you find on most AWD IS cars from the rustbelt. The oil and filter, cabin filter, and engine air filter were all just serviced. The right and left front wheel bearings, passenger front drive axle, driver door lock actuator, key fob battery and four new tires were just installed. The front brake pads and rotors, rear brake pads and rotors, rear brake calipers, battery, front struts, and rear struts were replaced not long ago. The car was hit lightly on the passenger side. No airbags deployed and doors still opened and closed. The right doors and door leg were replaced. You can see the videos of the entire repair process here:

Now for the imperfections for full transparency: The steering wheel has some wear at the top. A new wheel or wheel cover would solve that problem and I would be happy to install either, at an additional cost. The tint on both of the left door has some tears and would need to be replaced to correct. The rear seat bottom has scratches (no tears) in the leather from what looks to be a dog’s claws, the rest of the seats just show average wear for the age. There are a few scratches around the car and rock chips from normal road use. Any of these imperfections can be remedied at an additional cost if you so choose.
