THE PRICE OF THE SILVERADO IS $11,995.00 which does not include title, tax and registration. Since those are dependent upon the buyer’s location, I cannot list this vehicle for the “out the door" price. For buyers outside IL, with the exception of a few states that I must collect tax (AZ, CA, FL, HI, IN, MA, MI, SC), the title, tax and registration is all done in your own state and there would be no additional paid at the time purchase, only when registered in your home state so check with your DMV/BMV for the fees and taxes there. If you want to buy this Silverado, the first step is to add it to your cart and proceed to checkout. This $995.00 is a non-refundable deposit that lets me know you have secured funds and will allow you to send me the rest of your information for titling, shipping/pick-up and payment (pick-up and shipping is the responsibility of the buyer). You will receive a response within 12 hours so we can work the payment of the balance and facilitate pick up of the vehicle. The deposit will hold the vehicle for up to 5 days from the time of your first response, by which time the full payment must be paid, or the deposit will be forfeited.
Now that we have the buying process worked out, let’s talk about this Chevrolet Silverado LS. It has a black exterior with tan cloth interior and vinyl flooring. It is powered by a 5.3 liter V8 engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission. At the time of the listing, it has 193,915 miles but it will be increasing as I drive it occasionally. This Silverado was originally from Arkansas so it has not seen the salty winters of the Chicago area yet and is still clean and free of rust. There was a lot of mechanical work performed in the last 500 miles to include: Front brake pads and rotors, rear brake pads and rotors, emergency brake shoes, idler arm and bracket, pitman arm, LF drive axle, LF wheel hub, LF brake caliper, rear u-joint, water pump, heater core, air filter, camshaft position sensor, both knock sensors and harness, intake gaskets, four new tires, four new shocks, rebuilt anti-lock brake control module, wheel alignment, engine oil and filter change. Everything works and there are no lights on, on the dash. In addition to the work listed above, the speakers, both front and rear were replaced, and a new 7pin trailer connector was installed in the rear bumper. The truck was originally red but was repainted after the repair. Door jambs, firewall and interior of the cab were all painted to make sure this color change was done right. The truck was rolled over and the roof and all body panels, with the exception of the tailgate and LF fender, were replaced with rust-free parts.

The truck has the LS package, and the options include:

Push button four wheel drive with auto 4x4
Tilt wheel
Leather wrapped steering wheel
Cruise control
Delay wipers
Air conditioning

Overhead console

Cargo lamp
Rear spoiler
Chrome mirrors
Fog lights
Trailer hitch

Also included is a new trailer brake controller and the factory wiring harness for plug and play installation
The truck was fully rust proofed after the repair. All it needs is a new home. It is a 20 year old truck and does have some flaws. The ones that stand out to me are the headliner that will eventually need to be replaced and the windshield that was not installed correctly and is shifted to the driver side, causing the drive door seal to be a little tight. The inside pull handle on the door panel is also broken which is a common problem on these trucks. Other than that, there is absolutely no reason I would hesitate to drive this truck across the country, as everything it could possibly have needed was just done.
